3 Days Chimpanzee TrekkingSafari – Kibale Forest National Park

After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will be driven to Kanyanchu Visitor center in Kibale National Park where you will be briefed before you start the match in the forest. You will be put in groups of eight and assigned a ranger to walk you in the forest. The primate walk will take you about 4-5hours I the forest and upon meeting the chimpanzees, you are only allowed one hour in their presence. Once time is up for seeing the Chimpanzees, you will walk back to the starting point where you will be debriefed and awarded certificates for Chimpanzee trekking.

You then drive back to the lodge for lunch and later visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a walk. Here you have to opportunity to see several species of monkeys like the Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Red-tailed Monkeys, L’Hoest Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys among others, Baboons, various bird species and other wildlife.
